Now I’m gonna be taking my credit card information off of my account. I want to change this to a pre paid card. What I want to know is if it’s required to have any credit cards associated with your account. Example: Take all credit card information off of account. Switch to pre paid card. Does this work? Also, will I still have my achievements and stats and friends?

This will not affect your account in any way. I switched from a credit card to a debit card, and nothing changed. You just need to have some debit/credit card/prepaid debit/credit card linked if you’re purchasing Microsoft Points directly from the Xbox instead of buying them at the store. Credit Card linking to an account is not required – if that were the case, no one under 18 could play or they’d be maxing out the credit cards of their parents!
