I would like to trade the USD/CLP Pair but I am unable to find a software that offers it. Right now I use GFT’s Dealbook 360 and Metatrader 4 but neither offers that option. Is there a way to add a custom currency pair to either of those platforms?
Thanks in advance.

No Responses to “Is There A Forex Software That Allows You To Trade Chilean Pesos?”

I have yet to come across a forex broker that offer USD/CLP in my years of trading, CLP simply isn’t a popular currency to trade, the daily fluctuation is very limited and it will be very hard to make any profit.
By the way, it’s not possible to custom add currency pair that does not exist. It has to be what are being offered by your forex broker.
    Good luck in trading.

First, you have two concepts crossed- software and brokerage. Dealbook is GFT’s platform and you can’t “add” something. GFT would have to make it available. Metatrader on the other hand is a software used by few brokers, but even if you’d have account opened with few of them, you can’t cross trade instruments from broker to broker.
If you really want to trade CLP, check with Saxobank, but I don’t think they have it available on retail platform.
Best bet would be to trade directly through a major bank, but this require large amount of money.
Also, you could try to check with banks in Chile. They probably would have the lowest entry level for trading it. Another option- dollar futures in Chile. This one is probably most feasible.
