Hi i installed new Windows 2003 with new domain. I used before same OS but with some other domain. Now, how can i transfer user accounts from old domain to new domain on workstations. I created new user accounts on new domain (new server) and i want to change my workstations to this new user accounts and domain but i want to keep existing documents and other settings for existing (old) user account.
Please can you suggest something?
I have initiated the transfer process and paid for my new domain service elsewhere, including entering the domain register authorization code from my old provider to the new one. What would happen if I canceled my service contract with my old (current) domain registrar right now? I ask because it’s due to renew, and I want to cancel it BEFORE it does, since they won’t refund my money. If I cancel it today (for example), what will happen to the domain transfer process? Will I lose the money I’ve paid the company I’m transferring to?
I have a website whose domain is hosted by Easy Host. I want to switch to a new website hosting company, but still keep my website address.
Also, I just recently switched from a PC to a Mac, so I would need a compatibe website hosting company as well. Any suggestions.
I’m looking for real answers by people who have either done website hosting transfers before or knows what I’m talking about – not someone who just answers questions to get 2 points…please.
